LAMBORGHINI REVENTON


The Lamborghini Revent?n is a supercar that debuted at the 2007 Frankfurt Auto Show. It will be the most powerful and expensive Lamborghini to date, costing one million euro. The official press release states that only 20 will be built, but it was later reported that the total number would be 100. The exterior styling was inspired by the F-22 Raptor. Although the exterior is partially new, almost the entire mechanics (including the engine) are taken directly from the Murci?lago LP640.

The Mucielago LP640 comes with even more horse power, taking it to a massive 640 bhp. Making it he most powerful car in the Lamborghini product range.

LAMBORGHINI MIURA P400

The Lamborghini Miura was built in Italy by Lamborghini between 1966 and 1973. A mid-engined layout had been used successfully in competition. The Miura was a trendsetter, the one that made the mid-engined layout de rigueur among two-seater high performance supercars. It is named after the Spanish ranch Miura, whose bulls have a proverbial attack instinct.

The Lamborghini LM002 built between 1986 and 1993 is an SUV. Approximately 300 vehicles are thought to have been built. This was an unusual departure for Lamborghini who, until that point was primarily known for high-performance grand tourers and supercars originally began in 1977 with a prototype vehicle codenamed the "Cheetah" which Lamborghini had designed in hopes of selling it to the US military.

LAMBORGHINI JALPA


The Lamborghini Jalpa, pronounced in the Spanish "HAL-pah", was produced from 1981 to 1988. The Jalpa was intended to fill a role as a more "affordable" Lamborghini, being much cheaper than the Countach. The name Jalpa came from a famous breed of fighting bulls, Ferruccio Lamborghini having a liking for bulls and being a Taurus he gave most Lamborghini cars bullfighting-related names.

LAMBORGHINI GALLARDO SUPERLEGGERA




A special version of the Gallardo, dubbed the Superleggera will be launched at the 2007 Geneva Auto Show supposedly in preparation for the next Ferrari 430 Scuderia. The Superleggera is lighter than the base Gallardo by around 70 kg (154 lb) - down to approximately 1,360 kg (3,000 lb) - thanks to the use of carbon fibre panels for the rear diffuser, undertray, the rearview-mirror housings, the interior door panels, the central tunnel, and the engine cover. Even the wheel nuts are made of titanium instead of steel to save even more unsprung weight at each corner of the car.

LAMBORGHINI GALLARDO SPYDER


The Lamborghini Gallardo spyder was unveiled at the Los Angeles Auto Show in January, 2006. It is considered by the company to be an entirely new model, with 520 hp (388 kW) and a lower-ratio six-speed transmission. The soft top is fully retractable. Like the other models in the range, the Gallardo Spyder also benefits from aluminium bodywork and features permanent four-wheel drive.

The Lamborghini Gallardo is the Italian supercar maker Lamborghini's "entry-level" car, sitting beneath the Murci?lago. It is also the first car to feature the new Lamborghini V10 engine - only the third engine designed by the firm. The car is named after a famous breed of fighting bull and is pronounced roughly "guy-ar-do". Gallardo is also Spanish for the word gallant. Although performance is lower than the Murcielago, it is still very high.


LAMBORGHINI DIABLO VT




Diablo means "Devil" in Spanish, it was a high-performance supercar built by Lamborghini in Italy between 1990 and 2001. It was the replacement of the Countach. After three years of making adjustments to the standard Diablo, in 1993 Lamborghini decided that an even more specialized version of the car could be developed. The VT had extras like all wheel drive, improved power steering, Brembo brake calipers, improved suspension, and an updated dashboard design. VT stood for Viscous Traction. There were just over 400 developed.

The Lamborghini Diablo SV or "Sport Veloce" version of the Diablo was an optional add-on package to the base car. It lacked the VT's all-wheel-drive system and electronic suspension, but it featured the VT's revised dashboard and larger brakes, a new 3-piece adjustable spoiler and was powered by a modified version of the 5.7 litre V12 producing 510 horsepower (380 kW).

Lamborghini began the development of the Diablo in 1989 as a replacement for the Countach, introducing it for sale on January 21, 1991. Power came from a 5.7 litre, 48 valve version of the legendary Lamborghini V12 featuring dual overhead cams and computer-controlled multi-point fuel injection. Diablo means "Devil" in Spanish.

The Lamborghini Countach produced by Lamborghini in Italy. The first prototype emerged in 1971, and production lasted until 1990. It did not pioneer but did popularise the wedge-shaped, sharply angled look popular in many high performance cars since. The word countach is an exclamation of astonishment in the local Piedmontese dialect - generally used by men on seeing an extremely beautiful woman. The closest translation into English would be "Holy Shit!".

LAMBORGHINI CONCEPT S



The Lamborghini Concept S was first shown at the 2005 Geneva Motor Show. It is a concept car designed by Luc Donckerwolke, the head of Lamborghini design, using the Lamborghini Gallardo as a basis. Luc's idea was to modify a Gallardo, Lamborghini's 'baby supercar', into a roadster which would be reminiscent of classic single-seater racing cars.

LAMBORGHINI 400GT


The Lamborghini 400GT 2+2 was a 2+2-seated sports car from the Italian manufacturer Lamborghini, successor to the 350GT. First presented at the 1966 Geneva Auto Show.Compared to its predecessor the engine was enlarged to 3929 cc (240 c.i.), increasing the power to 320 bhp (239 kW). The 400GT 2+2 was actually a different body from the 350GT, with a longer wheelbase, different roofline, and some sheetmetal changes throughout the car. The larger body shape enabled the +2 seating to be installed in the rear, where the 350GT only had room for luggage or +1 seating. The bodywork was designed by Carrozzeria Touring. The 400GT 2+2 also had a Lamborghini designed gearbox, with Porsche style synchromesh on all gears, which greatly improved the drivetrain.

LAMBORGHINI 350GT


The Lamborghini 350GT was the first production car by Lamborghini, first shown at the Turin Motor Show in 1963.The car featured a 3.5 litre quad-cam V-12 engine (hence its designation), independent rear suspension (while Ferrari still used live rear axles) and a controversial 2+1 semi-fastback body by Carrozzeria Touring of Milan.The 350GT generally drew high praises at the time for its flexible and high-revving engine, its stable cornering, even on rough surfaces, and its high level of finish. 120 copies were built from 1963 to 1966.
